murphthecreative is the creative practice of multidisciplinary designer Gina Murphy.

Born and raised in Chicago, I am an award-winning creative director, brand strategist, and visual designer with more than 20 years of experience building brands that connect.

My career has spanned boutique studios, integrated agencies, and in-house creative leadership, where I’ve shaped brand identities, marketing campaigns, and visual systems for organizations of all sizes. Equal parts intuitive and strategic, I bring curiosity, empathy, and a thoughtful creative process to every project, creating work that feels authentic, purposeful, and built to last.

After two decades in advertising, I’ve found my greatest fulfillment partnering with founders, entrepreneurs, independent businesses, and fellow creative professionals. I especially enjoy collaborating with small agencies and creative partners who value craftsmanship, thoughtful collaboration, and bringing the right people together to create exceptional work.
